Memory

I get the feeling I'm forgetting something, I don't know what though. Carson (my subsystemmate/our subsystem's "original") doesn't really have memories outside this system, although we're... Kinda fictives, but only sorta at this point. Obviously not all fictives or 'kin folks have memories, our other fictive doesn't either and he's chill with that. But I feel like there are things that I'm remembering, or not remembering that are specific to me. what's weird about that though is that i'm not sure if i've ever not been a systemmate, so was i system in my past life? That's a weird thing to think about. i don't remember carson or CJ being there, but what does that mean about me? It's confusing I don't know how to figure it out. I'm a facet so is that why it's hard for me to remember what it was like before? Are my memories incomplete because I'm a facet?

Plus like I'm somewhat of a fictive of an OC we roleplay with, but my memories, or at least the feelings I get about them aren't the same as the way we roleplay "my" past, so I'm worried about mistaking roleplay "memories" for my real ones, I don't know how to distinguish.
